My Story

Brian Jernigan is an educator, designer, and system builder who believes learning is most powerful when it is rooted in empathy and real purpose. After more than a decade teaching design, engineering, and woodworking, Brian saw a clear pattern: students engage more deeply when they are designing for someone, not just for a grade.

Learning

Learning should be hands-on, meaningful, and purposeful.

  1. Students learn best when they design for others.

  2. Empathy belongs at the center of engineering and design.

  3. Education should connect to the real world.
